Top 10 destinations to fly to this half term directly from Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport is the UK’s busiest airport outside London and there are a predicted 550,000 travelling away this upcoming half term.  Tenerife, Mallorca and Malaga are among the most popular destinations for holidaymakers and families who are seeking a spot of sunshine just before the summer.

As half term for some schools in Greater Manchester is next week, Manchester Airport predicts an increase in passengers.

 In the winter, Dubai was the most favoured tourist destination, with winter sun seekers there for its warm climate, or connecting to other winter sun spots all around the world. But the airport is seeing a shift now with traditional holiday and city-break destinations proving more attractive.
