Dufry, Manchester Airport and Clinique join forces to “surprise and delight” passengers

Dufry has partnered with Manchester Airport and Clinique to celebrate International Women’s Day and share the gift of happiness with Clinique iD through a full brand takeover in the month of March.

As part of Clinique’s worldwide International Women’s Day campaign, the brand’s takeover at Manchester Airport kicks off a series of initiatives to surprise and delight travellers. The activation starts with a transformation of the arrivals luggage hall with a carousel of Clinique gifts for passengers to enjoy. Manchester Airport will also have a Clinique #FindMyiD Pop Up in Terminals 1 and 2 for passengers to discover Clinique iD with VR activities and gifts with purchase.

To further promote this engaging event, Clinique invited brand partners to capture passengers’ “surprise and delight” on the day, to share on their social media channels.

Passengers travelling through Manchester Airport will also discover a truly immersive Clinique iD experience across the entire site including in the Biza Tax & Duty Free stores, with impactful point of sale at all touch points and expert staff on hand to give one to one consultations and beauty advice.

Commenting on the campaign, Krista Suresh, Head of Beauty for Dufry in the UK said: “This is a true trinity partnership between ourselves, Manchester Airport and Clinique and we are delighted to play our part in bringing this airport activation to life. It will create so much excitement and customer engagement for passengers arriving at the airport and for those departing passengers visiting our Biza Tax & Duty Free stores.”

Stephen Turner, Commercial Director at Manchester Airport, said: “This partnership is set to offer something different and unique to our passengers this month, and it is great to work in collaboration with such exciting and high profile brands.

“We are always looking to offer our customers the very best experience when they travel through Manchester Airport, and this will be very fitting, seeing as it forms part of our wider International Women’s Day activity, and I am sure it will be well received.”
